1. What Premium Includes

Every Premium shipment is backed by protection across three areas: the package itself, the traveler carrying it, and how quickly disputes get resolved.

Package Protection

  • Loss coverage
  • Theft coverage
  • Accidental damage coverage
  • Delivery failure protection

Traveler Protection

  • Legal assistance relating to the shipment
  • Identity verification badge, shown on the Traveler's profile
  • Priority customer support

Dispute Resolution

  • Faster claim review than standard shipments
  • A dedicated support agent assigned to the case
  • Priority refund processing once a claim is approved

2. Coverage Limits

Coverage limits depend on the plan selected at the time of booking:

Basic

No insurance included

  • Standard delivery, no coverage

Premium

Coverage up to QAR 5,000 per shipment

  • Full Package & Traveler Protection

Business Premium

Coverage up to QAR 20,000 per shipment

Figures above are illustrative example limits and are subject to change — always confirm current limits at the time of booking.

3. Not Covered

The following are excluded from Premium Insurance coverage under all plans:

Illegal goods, cash, precious metals, cryptocurrency wallets, live animals, human organs, firearms, perishable goods, fragile items packed improperly, and damage caused by customs inspections.

4. Claim Process

If something goes wrong with a Premium shipment, here's how to file a claim:

  1. Report within 48 hours of the issue occurring or being discovered.
  2. Upload photos showing the damage, loss, or issue as clearly as possible.
  3. Upload delivery evidence, such as confirmation messages, tracking history, or handoff photos.
  4. Claim reviewed by the TravelDrop team within 5–10 business days.
  5. Approved claims are paid directly to the Sender once the review is complete.
These terms are subject to change. Always check the current version of this page before relying on specific coverage limits or claim timelines.
