- Identity information: your name, email address, and phone number.
- Verification information: passport or government-issued ID used to confirm your identity.
- Profile information: your profile photo.
- Payment information: details needed to process payments and payouts (handled by our payment providers — see Section 3).
- Travel information: the travel routes and dates you provide as a Traveler.
- Device information: details about the device and browser you use to access TravelDrop.
- Location information: GPS location, only when you've enabled location access.
2. How Information Is Used
TravelDrop uses the information above for the following purposes:
- Verifying your identity before you can send or accept deliveries.
- Detecting and preventing fraud on the platform.
- Matching Travelers with Senders whose routes and needs align.
- Processing payments and releasing funds to Travelers.
- Providing customer support when you contact us.
- Complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
- Improving TravelDrop's product and user experience over time.
3. Information Sharing
TravelDrop does not sell your personal information. We only share information with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed to operate the platform:
- Payment providers, to process payments and payouts securely.
- Identity verification providers, to confirm government-issued ID during onboarding.
- Insurance partners, where a shipment is covered under a Premium Insurance plan.
- Government authorities, only where TravelDrop is legally required to disclose information (such as in response to a valid legal request).
4. Data Security
TravelDrop takes the security of your information seriously and applies multiple layers of protection, including:
- Encryption of sensitive data, both in transit and at rest.
- Secure cloud storage with reputable infrastructure providers.
- Restricted employee access — only staff who need access to specific data to do their job can view it.
- Continuous monitoring for suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts.
5. Your Rights
You have the following rights over your personal information, and can exercise them at any time by contacting us:
- Download a copy of your personal data held by TravelDrop.
- Update inaccurate or outdated information on your account.
- Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to any legal retention requirements (see Section 7).
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
6. Cookies
TravelDrop uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Authentication — keeping you securely signed in.
- Analytics — understanding how the platform is used so we can improve it.
- Performance — helping pages load quickly and reliably.

7. Data Retention
- Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active.
- Transaction records are retained for as long as required for legal and tax compliance purposes.
